MOTOR!K return with “6”, the next chapter in their tribute to 70s krautrock, the music that helped lay the roots of electronic music.
The Belgian trio brings together Dirk Ivens (Guitars / FX), a defining force in EBM and industrial since 1980 with The Klinik, Dive and Absolute Body Control, Joeri Dobbeleir (Guitars / Synths), and new drummer Simon Ruyssinck.
The formula is deliberately simple and hypnotic: the relentless, forward-rolling MOTOR!K beat, looping guitar figures and synth textures, built up patiently until repetition tips over into trance. That is exactly the point. The band’s own stated aim is to put the listener in a trance, and across six pieces, from opener “Shifting Paths” and first single “Forms” to the closing “Northern Star”, “6” keeps the engine running.
Color variant: “6” is available on classic black vinyl.
Drop the needle and let the MOTOR!K beat carry you.
